Graduated from the Kharkiv State Academy of Culture, licensed in Culture Studies. As an artist, works with performance, installation, puppet theatre, sculpture, graphics and painting. Rethinks archaic rituals, works with non-functional objects, creates his own mythology, performative and interactive components and also does craft work with natural materials, most often with wood.

Author of several puppet performances. Currently collaborates with Oksana Dmitrieva, Director of the Kharkiv Puppet Theatre, designing performances in Kharkiv and Lviv.
As a lecturer, works in projects focusing on new formats of education in contemporary art. One of his experiments in the methodology of teaching drawing has transformed into a book “Illustration. Course Chronicles” with detailed exercises and over 240 students’ drawings, published in 2019. In 2017–2020, conducted practical courses “Composition” and “Art-Project” and, together with Sandro Garibashvili and Yuriy Shtaida, a course in performance, the “School of Unguided Actions,” at the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts. Lectured in “Coloristics,” “Non-Academic Drawing” and “Active Imagination” at the “Visual Arts Academy,” Ihor Chekachkov Photo Art Academy, and the “Art-People” studio. Tutor in the “ScienceArt” educational project for artists headed by Yanina Prudenko, Kharkiv, Ukraine.
Since 2019, Zorkin conducts custom-designed courses at the Kharkiv School of Architecture. In 2021, together with Mykola Naboka, introduced a custom-designed course developing students’ understanding of the nature of movement and the object on the paper sheet plane and in space.
