The core BA programme “Architecture and Urbanism” is based upon international experience in architectural education and it is unique for Ukraine. The students master the basic competences in architecture and project work through on-going practice and design of individual projects in the Studio, which provides a realistic project work environment for architects.
Short-term intensive educational programmes provide focused competences, experience, skills and a new perspective of architecture within a short period of time.
We invite you to a workshop that aims to develop specific skills to adapt the focus and leadership style to the ongoing military crisis to provide a better understanding of how leadership requirements and team members’ behavior change.
The speaker is Marjo van Schhaik, creative producer, researcher and director on strategic development.
In times of crisis good leadership is even more important than in ‘regular’ times. Ukraine is now in extreme crisis and therefore the demand on leaders is extremely high. However, the character of the demand is different than in normal times. Basically, the same set of characteristics are required, but in this situation, some are more important than others. Crises and major changes ask for different type of leadership focus and style. Also important is the fact that people react different to crisis situations and therefore re-assessment of leader and team are necessary.
