Kempster is a Canadian designer, artist and pedagogue, residing in Buffalo, NY, USA. In cooperation with Julia Jamrozik, he attempts to create spaces, objects, and situations which interrupt the daily humdrum in critically exciting and playful ways. Their multifocal practice works in various scales: from temporary installations to permanent public objects of art and architectural projects. In 2018, their work won the Prize for Young Architects and Designers from the Architectural League of New York.
