Obtained a master’s degree in architecture at Kharkiv National University of Construction and Architecture (Ukraine). He worked for 2 years in the architectural bureau “Drozdov and Partners” in Kharkiv, where he started practice by developing projects of residential and public buildings in Ukraine and abroad. In 2016, he did an internship at BIG Architecture in New York, was involved in the detailed development of The Spiral project. He is a co-founder of the architectural studio Noema. Participant and winner of international architectural competitions, including the Cebada Community Center (Madrid, 1st place) and participation in Europan 15 Productive Cities. In 2022, he begins to collaborate with Drozdov & Partners and Philipp Meuser on the concept of micro-district transformation in cities affected by the war, including the design of a social housing project based on local production of prefabricated elements.
Participant of interdisciplinary workshops, including: “Funding Urbanism” (Wonderlab, Berlin) and summer urban school “New Lviv” (Center for Urban History, Lviv). He coordinated the urban summer school “Visions and Experiences” in Slavutych, as part of the NGO “Urban Forms Center” (Kharkiv).
He has been in the KhSA team since 2020. He is a teacher of the studio block and head of the XША LAB. He teaches senior courses, where he focuses on housing design and research, landscape urbanism and urban planning. He acted as a diploma supervisor, raising the topic of integration of infrastructural projects into the urban environment. His main academic focuses are issues of housing policy and architecture in the context of post-war reconstruction, as well as modern teaching methods in architectural education.
