Dmytro Zayats

Zayats holds a Candidate’s Degree in Sociology and MA in Sociology from Lancaster University, Great Britain. His research focuses on the interaction between people and their material environment embodied in the social-spatial units of a courtyard, park, square, children’s playground, etc. Zayats publishes articles in international professional journals, he is a regular participant of Ukrainian and international research conferences. In 2011 and 2013, Zayats won the Silver and the Bronze Awards of the Institute of Sociology of the Ukrainian National Academy of Sciences in the “Best Young Sociologist of the Year” competition.
