Illya Pavlov

Illya Pavlov, PhD, is a researcher and design director. In 2006 he established the Grafprom studio with his partner Maria Norazian. They had also worked for leading creative agencies and press houses in post Soviet capitals and designed several nation-wide brands and corner-stone editions. Though the urge to be free and mobile didn’t let them stay too long anywhere including their own studio in Kharkiv. Illya has taught in Kharkiv State University and Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts. Conducted workshops across Europe and USA. Also in 2014 established his own independent course about poster design “Poster FAQ”. Currently a Senior Lecturer at FH Joanneum, Graz, Austria and guest teacher at School of Visual comunication, Kyiv, Ukraine and Kharkiv School of Achitecture.
