Graduated in the Methodology and Methods of Sociological Research from the School of Sociology of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University. 10-year work experience in urban research and municipal policies research. Previously, a researcher and an expert in municipal participatory decision-making policies with the Cedos think tank, CANactions, and the Centre for Urban Studies. As an expert in hromada participation took part in designing a concept for the Podilskyi District of Kyiv, Ukraine, under the project “Integrated Urban Development in Ukraine”. Participant of international workshops and seminars for young researchers and professionals focusing on urban research and municipal policies in Vienna, Tartu, Lisbon, Frankfurt, Sibiu, Tbilisi, etc. A co-designer of courses in Social Research for Urban Planners and Participatory Planning for the MA programme in Urbanism and Spatial Planning at the School of Urbanism and Spatial Planning of the Kharkiv National University of Civil Engineering and Architecture, Ukraine. An international summer school mentor in Ukraine and other European countries. In 2022, a resident scholar at the Centre for Urban History of East Central Europe in Lviv, Ukraine.
In 2019, joined the KhSA team as a tutor of the Sociology Block of the Foundation Year programme; since 2022, trains students in the Humanitarian Urban Research, introducing sociological and anthropological research methods. Conducts trainings in facilitation for KhSA faculty and administrative team and in team-work for the first-year KhSA students.
Research focus: urban research, practice of hromadas participation in decision-taking for urban development, urban communities development and strengthening, network analysis.
