Nikitenko is an architect and founder of the Nikitenkoteam architectural office and a co-founder and CEO of the Caustica architectural visualisation studio.
Nikitenko is a DAAD grant winner and graduate of the Dessau International Architecture School (DIA), Germany. She previously worked at Zotov&Co., Kyiv, Ukraine, Christian Kerez AG and June14 Meyer-Grohbrügge&Chermayeff, Berlin, Germany, and Junya.Ishigami+Associates, Tokyo, Japan. As a team member of Junya.Ishigami+Associates, she participated in the competition for extending the Gund Hall in the Harvard Graduate School of Design, USA.
In 2018, Nikitenko joined the KhSA team as a faculty member. She is a co-author of the KhSA BA curriculum. In 2019–2021, she worked as the Skills Bloc Curator and lectured for the Technical and the Skills Blocs and the Studio. Nikitenko conducted four Basics workshops, a Portfolio course and a course in modelling and technical drawing for the Foundation Year students. She is also a jury member of the KhSA competition for secondary school students. At present, Nikitenko is a BA Programme Consultant and curricula development counsellor.
