PhD in Philosophy, Associate Professor at the Department of Philosophy, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, and a part-time lecturer at the Kharkiv School of Architecture (since 2025). He is a scholar of contemporary French philosophy, translator, and cultural organizer.
Pavlo earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Philosophy at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv (2008–2009) and completed his PhD at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv in 2015. His dissertation focused on “The Reactivation of Leibniz’s Philosophy in the Works of Gilles Deleuze.”
He teaches courses in Philosophy, Philosophy of Art, 20th-Century French Philosophy, and Modern Art and Architecture. Pavlo is a co-founder of “Café philosophique” and “Entazys”, and a member of the Taras Shevchenko Scientific Society. He has organized and led numerous public lectures, seminars, and philosophical discussions in Lviv, Kyiv, and beyond.
In 2023, Pavlo was a Fellow at the Institute for Human Sciences (IWM, Vienna) with the research project “Querencia, Existence, and Freedom (Intersections between Hemingway and Sartre).”
His research and translations have been published in leading academic journals such as Sententiae, Filosofska Dumka, Problemos, and Humanitarian Vision. Pavlo has translated key works by Felix Ravaisson, Henri Bergson, Gilles Deleuze, Michel Foucault, and Jean-Paul Sartre into Ukrainian.
His scholarly interests include French Spiritualism, 20th-century French philosophy, and intersections between art, architecture, and philosophy.
In 2025, Pavlo joined the team of the Kharkiv School of Architecture.
