The two-year intensive programme is designed for those who have already acquired basic competences for architectural project work and who are eager to get an impetus for their professional development in the international context. The Master’s Programme provides the environment for contemporary practice and internationally-recognized training for future opinion leaders in architecture.
The core BA programme “Architecture and Urbanism” is based upon international experience in architectural education and it is unique for Ukraine. The students master the basic competences in architecture and project work through on-going practice and design of individual projects in the Studio, which provides a realistic project work environment for architects.
One-year preparatory course to get acquainted with architecture and urbanism. The course focuses on the basic humanitarian challenges and crucial architectural skills. The students acquire theoretical and practical skills, gradually master unique disciplines and create their own projects.
A course for teenagers in architecture, graphics and aesthetics, urbanism and spatial thinking. The studios plunge the students into project work and team work, get them interested in architecture and provide an opportunity to make their first creative projects.
The Library is a unit of the Kharkiv School of Architecture set up to meet the needs of its students, faculty, and researchers. In compliance with the accredited curricula of the School, it provides its students with an access to the latest publications in architecture and the Humanities. We specialise in architectural and urban design, urban planning, history and theory of architecture, urbanism and urban studies, landscape architecture, heritage and conservation. The Library stocks about 1,000 printed publications and it continues to grow with the support of the School donors.
To create a comfortable environment for studies, in 2021 we joined Koha, the first automated library system in Ukraine, which provides a free access to international library systems and facilitates access to our library.
