Bidakov graduated from the Kharkiv National University of Civil Engineering and Architecture. In 2016, he continued his education with an internship at the Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT), Germany, and in 2018, he had an internship at the University of Coimbra, Portugal, both sponsored by the grants from the European Committee COST Action FP1402 “Basis of Structural Timber Design: from research to standards”.
Bidakov holds a Candidate’s Degree in Technical Science; he is an expert for the European Committee COST Action FP1402 “Basis of Structural Timber Design: from research to standards” and a co-designer of the State Construction Regulations V.2.6.-161:2017 “Timber Structures. Basic Provisions” and V.2.3.-35:2016 “Transportation Structures. Bridges and Piping. Project Design Regulations. Timber Structures”. He is the founder and the Head of the Eastern Europe Conference on Timber Constructions, EECTC, www.eectc.pro and a designer of the Decor SCAD Soft solution software for timber constructions calculation.
