Professor at the Graduate School of the Architectural Association in London and an independent consultant urbanist for cities, design practices and research institutes. He has collaborated with diverse architects and landscape architects including Zaha Hadid, Future Systems, Gustafson Porter, Balmori Associates and S333. He writes and lectures on a range of topics linked to the urban process, with the primary focus on the impact of design to the development of successful urban strategies.
