Graduated from the Kharkiv Institute of Civil Engineering and Construction, licensed in Architecture. During his studies, completed traineeships in project design institutes in Latvia and Estonia. Spent ten years in the leading Sumy Region Department of the “MiskBudProekt” [Urban Civil Engineering Project] project design institute: Designed projects of various scales: from the urban scale to individual houses and complexes. Since 1996, has been teaching architecture at the Kharkiv National University of Construction and Architecture. Since 2020, has taught courses in Architectural Project Design and Reconstructive-Restorative Project Design at the Kharkiv Academy of Design and Arts. In 2020, completed the post-graduate course of study at the Department of Built Environment Design at the Kharkiv National University of Construction and Architecture. In September 2022, defended his PhD thesis “Local Strategies of Developing the Built Environment in the Cities of Ukraine”.
